HHT WAS AWARE OF THE POWER OF ITS ASSETS - HOUSES, GARDENS AND MUSEUMS - TO HELP PIECE TOGETHER SYDNEY'S HISTORY.

HHT’s challenge communications challenge was to convey it’s dynamism and diversity. If they could consolidate their property brands with a common identity, they could more strongly articulate their purpose of enriching lives.

RIGOROUS CUSTOMER RESEARCH AND STRATEGIC SYNTHESIS IDENTIFIED AMBIGUITY AROUND HHT'S PURPOSE. THE VISUAL OF A KEY GAVE FOCUS TO THE CENTRAL IDEA OF EXPERIENCING SYDNEY'S PAST THROUGH ENTERING PEOPLE'S HOMES.

We worked closely with HHT to understand their vision and values to develop a new brand strategy, name and identity. Sydney Living Museums references the idea of discovery through story telling. The word Living in the name refers not only to the curatorial focus of the Museums but also expresses the overall experience people can enjoy.

SYDNEY LIVING MUSEUMS IS A PURPOSEFUL AND CONSIDERED REBRAND THAT HAS FUTURE PROOFED THE ORGANISATION

The logo crafts the letterforms into a monogram to resemble a key. This is used in conjunction with a stacked, capitalised word mark.The rebrand conveys the organisation's intent and its remarkable journey through time and place to connect with other lives.
