FINANCIAL REPORTING MADE FUN

How can design help OzHarvest ‘Nourish our country’? Since 2004, OzHarvest has built momentum through an army of supporters, partners and volunteers. The Annual Report could become a tool to engage, inform and inspire all those who donate time, money and resources.

Our task was to articulate the positive outcome of OzHarvest’s mission to rescue and redistribute excess food. Beyond this, to represent the infectious enthusiasm, warmth and sharing of love that is core to Ronni Kahn and the OzHarvest brand.

SIMPLICITY DELIVERS IMPACT

Working with Droga5 we created a brand that would amplify OzHarvest’s presence .The report is highly accessible through use of engaging info-graphics, pull out quotes and typographic motifs. We minimised the cost and environmental impact of ink by using only black on yellow paper stock. The result is a fluid combination of functionality and fun.

ECO-FRIENDLY, INFORMATIVE, CREATIVE

The reports are printed on thin, recyclable, carbon neutral paper. When applying ink to this stock incredibly fine judgement has to be used to balance impact on the printed side, without overpowering the other side. The report attracted awards from D&AD, the Art Directors Club (ADC), Applied Arts Magazine, the Create Design Awards and Graphis, amongst others.
