Neil Perry is one of Australia’s leading and influential chefs and restaurateurs. He opened Rockpool in 1989 following which he went on to win a long list of awards, both here and overseas. The Rockpool Files lends its name from this legendary brand. After decades of success in the hospitality industry Nest was approached to design and develop a new website concept for Rockpool Dining Group and Culinary and Brands Director, Neil Perry AM that needed to bring together his wealth of knowledge and passion for fine dining, food and produce.









AN EXTRAORDINARY CULINERY HERITAGE
The Rockpool Dining Group comprises 55 venues and private function spaces as well as a craft brewing company. The project recognised the opportunity to address the disparate nature of Neil Perry’s hospitality empire, and that if the group was to be navigated with clarity it required a cohesive communications approach. Additionally, it was an opportunity to celebrate the group’s restaurants and teams, while collating and organising an extensive archive of recipes, travel stories, industry knowledge and inspiration.





MAKING SENSE OF A COMPLEX BRAND FAMILY
Designed as an online magazine, The Rockpool Files showcases everything you need to know about food and dining experiences under four pillars of content — Recipes, Travel, Rockpool Files and Market Basket. The collaboration brought together Neil’s head chefs, sommeliers, bar tenders and butcher to each share food experiences and expertise. It acts as a window (and link) to the ever-growing and evolving restaurant group by consolidating all of Neil Perry’s content in one place.
