
Doug joined Frost*collective in 2017 as the Head of Digital and Brand for the Nest, and now contributes his expertise and marketing intelligence throughout all touchpoints of frost*collective as a senior leader.
Doug is a driven, insightful and evidence-based marketing professional with a career that spans everything from advertising through to his specialisation in human-centred design and emerging digital technologies. His primary remit is transforming the Frost*collective team into a world-class Digital Experience practice, informed heavily by the principles of human-centric design.
Among many of Doug’s major accomplishments is the complete renewal of Razorfish Australia from a boutique digital creative shop to a successful and well-respected marketing cloud consultancy during his time as CEO. Additionally in 2015, Doug sat on a global leadership team that was responsible for creating a Global Centre of Excellence in human-centred design (HCD). This CoE was based in Paris and headed up by one of the original founders of the HCD thinking group that ultimately became Nurun. Shortly after the CoE was established, Doug sent the Australian Customer Experience team to Paris for a two-month training residency, whom on their return established a highly successful customer experience (CX) team in Sydney. This team later went on to win major projects from The NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet, Qantas, IAG and the Sydney Opera House.
