Environments Design Manager

Our Environments team, Urbanite is looking for a Wayfinding and Environments Design Manager to assist in the project management of wayfinding, environmental graphics, interiors and placemaking projects alongside the Design Management and Creative team. If you are passionate, curious, hard-working, resourceful, have a positive mindset and a good sense of humour, you sound like one of us and we’d love to meet you.

The role:
This role is for a motivated individual with a background in either architecture, interior, industrial or graphic design with a keen interest in managing projects and facilitating the creative process to deliver outstanding results for our clients. You will be able to combine your skills and interests in project management, organisation, client service and work alongside the creative team to create spaces that brings brands to life.

Our Design Managers work with the creative team and manage all design projects from inception to completion. Working alongside internationally awarded creatives, we are looking for someone with a love for design and the design process as well as being a big team player.

You will be supporting Urbanite’s Director and the Design Management team with the delivery of several projects and will learn about the power of human experience design to create better connections, behaviours and journeys that enrich people’s lives.

What you’ll bring to the role: 

• Passion about design and driving the design process through strategy and design, whilst not necessarily undertaking the design work yourself
• Love of architecture, interiors, graphics, and management
• Enjoy being busy and can prioritise and deliver on multiple projects
• Strong organisational skills and a good understanding of finances
• Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do, so being open, positive, and working as a team comes naturally to you
• A minimum of 5 years design management experience
