Working in the hospitality industry is familiar territory for Frost*collective. Neil Perry’s Burger Project needed to adopt an honest approach to its website refresh that could integrate the brand story more clearly, appeal to the foodies and clearly reflect Perry’s personal commitment to the community – he calls it eating for a good cause.

Wanting to really set this brand apart from other burger places, Neil Perry’s new website for Burger Project highlights a genuine commitment to produce, nutrition, happy cows, environmental sustainability and of course, the community.

Being part of something bigger was a strong message that the site had to convey. Neil Perry himself articulates his brand’s philosophy on the website sharing his thoughts and beliefs about provenance, community and sustainability and making an online pledge to honour and celebrate this value system.

Burger Project became a story about making the best burger; heroing the burger. We stripped back the design and created a website that is so easy to navigate, so clean and bold – that Jason Lucas’ photography almost drips from the page. Taking a frank approach to the information consumers would be looking for, we provided information about two key things – location and burger choice. We called it Find & Eat. Easy.
